Analytics and privacy
A narrow measurement boundary for the public storefront.
Your choice
Google Analytics is optional on KnownFix's GitHub Pages storefront. It loads only after you allow it on this browser.
Choose whether this browser may send analytics.
What may be measured
- The page path without query strings or fragments.
- The referring origin and path without query strings or fragments.
- Standard browser, device, approximate region, and session information provided by Google Analytics.
- Fixed events such as catalog search used, service selected, checkout started, or Merch Store opened.
What is excluded
KnownFix does not send catalog search text, order targets, notes, authorization choices, private tickets, payment proofs, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, report contents, or form-field values to Google Analytics. Private reports do not contain the analytics tag.
MCP connection signals
Operational statistics are restricted to the KnownFix owner. Owner sign-in uses an eight-hour essential session cookie; it is separate from optional visitor analytics.
KnownFix's application ledger stores fixed daily request-phase, client-family, user-agent hint and campaign-source counters for 30 days. Unknown labels collapse to other or unspecified. It does not store raw client names or versions, IP addresses, request headers, prompts, tool arguments, sessions or geographic origin. These self-reported signals can be spoofed and do not identify a person or prove human use. Browser hints cover requests reaching the MCP endpoint, not GitHub Pages visits. No historical client identity is reconstructed.
The MCP connection kit and MCP Response Inspector process input locally without saving or uploading it. With optional analytics allowed, only fixed actions such as copy, download and check are sent, never configuration or response contents. Inspector checklists omit pasted data and server error messages.
Separate systems
The private owner ledger remains the source of truth for KnownFix orders, settlement, delivery, and aggregate store activity. Hosting providers may process their own operational logs separately. The Merch Store is hosted by Fourthwall and has its own privacy and consent controls. Read Google's privacy policy and Fourthwall's privacy policy for their processing terms.
Local preference
Your analytics choice is stored locally under knownfix.analytics.consent. Disabling analytics prevents the tag from loading on future KnownFix storefront pages in this browser.
Webhook Retry Planner
The retry planner calculates locally. It does not save or upload settings or contact webhook endpoints. With optional analytics allowed, retry_planner_action records calculate, reset, copy-json, copy-checklist, example-standard, example-tight, example-capped or read-guide. Service comparison records a fixed target-category label. No entered numbers, schedule, payload, URL or identifying data is included in these action events. These events measure actions, not unique people or successful deliveries.
Companion guide actions
With optional analytics allowed, guide_action records only open-tool, download-example or related-guide. The three tools also record a fixed label when a built-in example is loaded or a companion guide is opened. Guide downloads contain fixed synthetic JSON examples, not your input. No configuration, response payload, entered numbers or private identifiers are included in these action events. The event_context reporting dimension groups these fixed labels; it adds no new data collection. Actions are not unique visitors, installations, resolved incidents or purchases.
